The BRITA Flow Meter calculates the remaining capacity of the respective filter system on the basis of the entered filter capacity and the recorded flow volume. When the filter candle runs out, the capacity is indicated as negative and the display flashes. At the same time, a timer is also in operation which, after a maximum of 12 months, indicates the date for the recommended replacement of the filter plug, causing the indication of the remaining capacity to flash. This ensures that the filter plug is replaced at the required time.
